Subspecies
The subspecies (Subspecies) are ramifications of the kinds by the classification division of the creature.
The ramification of the kind is only subspecies in the zoology, but uses a variety / the kind in the botany elsewhere.
When I give a scientific name alone, I put it with ssp.
Subspecies are easy to appear in remote islands separated from it regionally.
For example, the great spotted woodpecker which is kind of the woodpecker is distributed over the Japan whole land, but there are several kinds subspecies around a remote island.
With the kind that subspecies are mentioned in, there are the subspecies of the scientific name same as specific epithet by all means, and this is called original subspecies, original name subspecies, basis subspecies.
It is subspecies to fall under the type specimen (the specimen which stored an individual considered to be a standard at the time of mention) of kind mention, and it is not a meaning called the progenitor which became the cause of the differentiation.
A crossing of neither gets up so that there is the case that mating is possible with subspecies when I bring in another subspecies in the area where existing subspecies inhabit, and attention is necessary for genetic diversity changing (it is reference by genetic pollution).
